AUGUSTA, GA (PR) - The South Augusta Tag Office located at 2029 Lumpkin Road and the Augusta Utilities Customer Service Office at 2760 Peach Orchard Road will serve its last citizens at their current locations on Wednesday, December 10th.
Their new locations, a part of the City of Augusta - Citizens Service Center, will open on Monday, December 15th at 1:00 p.m. at 3463 Peach Orchard Road in the Bi-Lo Shopping Center.
The opening will be preceded by a ribbon-cutting and Open House at 10:30 am. Customers who need tag services during the time of the move can be served at the new West Augusta location at 2816 Washington Road, Suite 109, in the National Plaza and customers who need Utilities Customer Service can be served at 925 Laney Walker Boulevard location.
“We are so glad to have completed this project for our residents, especially those who live in South Augusta,”, said District 4 Commissioner Alvin Mason. “There is going to be a continued effort to spur economic development and growth in this part of town and the City of Augusta will continue to lead that charge.”
