ATLANTA, GA (GAGOP) - The Georgia Republican Party will host seven debates throughout Georgia for candidates seeking the U.S. Senate seat now held by retiring Senator Saxby Chambliss. By organizing debates in all four corners of the state, the Georgia GOP will provide voters with more access, more information, and more opportunities to interact with the Republican candidates for Senate.
The Georgia GOP will partner with District and County Republicans to organize and promote the following debates:
January 18, 2014 - Adel, Georgia
February 1, 2014 - Kennesaw, Georgia
February 22, 2014 - Gainesville, Georgia
March 8, 2014 - Macon, Georgia
March 29, 2014 - Savannah, Georgia
April 19, 2014 - Augusta, Georgia
May 10, 2014 - Columbus, Georgia
The first debate in Adel will be held at the Cook County High School Performing Arts Center (9900 Georgia Highway 37, Adel, GA 31620). All debates are on Saturday and will begin promptly at 6PM.
Editor's Note: Michelle Nunn ( Democratic Party) is running for the same seat as a centrist with a war chest over a million dollars to help her campaign.
