AUGUSTA, GA - In spite of all the good news that city officials are bragging about the booming economy for many homeowners just don't seem to work. The Red Carpet Tour program offered by the Chamber of Commerce will have hard time to sale Augusta to investors with the sad portrait on the streets with more Foreclosure and For Sale signs than political campaign signs.
The primaries will take place on July 31 but there is no sign that campaign signs will have room on the streets. Too much competition with "Foreclosure" could be confusing. Imagine "Vote for Romney" and behind a sign that reads "For Sale."
Comments Mayor Copenhaver, “As we continue to monitor the most accurate and up-to-date economic data available, this significant increase in housing starts over 2011's first-quarter is indeed good news for our local housing market.”
