AUGUSTA, GA - The Hispanic Advisory Council was formed to represent Hispanic serving organizations and meet once a month to collaborate for the purpose of sharing information, networking, and creating opportunities to better serve the Hispanic community across all sectors within the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). Paul Balducci is the chair and Doris Gonzalez and Maria del Valle the secretaries. The coalition meetings take place at the Enterprise Mill, downtown.
It was announced the planning stage of a college targeting the education needs of many Latinos in the CSRA. In order to have a better understanding of those needs below is a community survey - encuesta - to help the new institution of high education. The institution will provide, certificates, diplomas and associate degrees.
