"Senator Hardie Davis scenario"

AUGUSTA, GA - "History has proven that Black Elected Officials (BEO) who become self-serving set the stage for their own political demise. The "Senator Hardie Davis scenario" is a prime example." Metro Courier Editorial, an African American publication.

Senator Hardie currently serves as Senior Pastor of Abundant Life Worship Center, a non-denominational church located in Augusta, Georgia.

Prior to his current position as full-time pastor, he served as Lead Automation Engineer with the Monsanto Company’s Biotech plant located in Augusta, Georgia.

Senator Davis is a 1992 graduate of Georgia Tech where he obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree and a 2002 graduate of Christian Life School of Theology where he received a Doctor of Ministry Degree.

In the fall of 2006, Davis, running as a Democrat, was elected to his first term as State Representative. He served two terms in the House. Most recently Senator Davis was elected in a special election to fill the unexpired term of Ed Tarver, also a Democrat, for Senate District 22.

Senator Davis serves on the following committees: Economic Development, Ethics, Government Oversight, Insurance and Labor, State and Local Governmental Operations and Transportation.

AS - Many in the community think that with so many churches in almost every corner and so many pastors in power we should we feeling like living in paradise not in hell. Maybe there is no difference.

AND JUSTICE FOR ALL, WHITE AND BLACK POWERFUL LAWYERS
