AUGUSTA NATIONAL HIRED A CHAIRWOMAN
AUGUSTA, GA - I.B.M.'s C.E.O. Virginia M. Rometty became the new chairman of the Augusta National Golf Club. The all boys club announced that electing Mrs. Rometty is a win- win situation and is a way of honoring the club's tradition of prestige and business elite. Traditionally, I.B.M. chief executives are invited to join Augusta but in this case is more than that. The company remains one of only three main sponsors of the Masters. The club will allow black and white ladies to play golf with the gentlemen at the Masters. The winner will be presented with Green Heels.
HAPPY FOOL'S DAY!
