AUGUSTA, GEORGIA - People’s Choice Award of the 2012 Congressional Art Competition consist of thirty-seven high school students in Georgia’s 10th Congressional District and have submitted their artwork for a chance to receive a scholarship to Savannah College of Art and Design, a trip to Washington, D.C., and the honor of having their artwork displayed in the United States Capitol. While artists from Augusta State University will decide who receives this top distinction, Georgia’s residents will determine the recipient of the People’s Choice Award.
The recipient of the People’s Choice Award at Augusta Mall, where the artwork is on display, will be announced at 11:30 am on April 28th.
