Overwhelming Support to ASU
AUGUSTA, GA (Tunisia Williams) - The campus and community have rallied together to prove We have been. We are. We will be… a Jaguar Nation as the A Day for Augusta State University (ASU) campaign exceeds its goal by more than $31,000.

The overall goal was $555,000. The grand total is $586,194.95.

The fundraising campaign culminates with the annual Alumni and Friends Barbecue in ASU’s D. Douglas Barnard, Jr., Amphitheater. Results of Augusta State University’s annual fund drive, A Day for ASU, is being shared with university friends and supporters at the barbecue, which traditionally marks the end of the annual fund campaign.

Highlighting the event are a fireworks display at dusk, children’s games, and music by the Sassy Brass Band.

Augusta State University, a unit of the University System of Georgia, is strategically located in the second largest city in Georgia. Offering 70 programs of study leading to associate, bachelor, master, and specialist degrees, the university successfully blends a strong liberal arts foundation with specialized degree preparation to ensure graduates have the knowledge and skills to succeed in a global environment. With an enrollment of nearly 7,000 diverse students, the university measures its success by the success of its students.
