First the good news: I am now officially a candidate to become your Democratic Georgia Commissioner of Insurance. With supporters standing with me, I was the first candidate to qualify for this critical position.
Now here is the bad news from the State Capitol: Georgia Republican House members voted to deny access to affordable health care for all Georgians, including millions of children and women. This unacceptable bill is now in the Senate.
Access to affordable health care is a must and we all deserve consumer protection under the Department of Insurance and at the State Capitol.
