Declaration of War at RNC

The Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida, looks like more a declaration of war against Americans who dare to think different than the power behind the GOP. The first casualty is Ron Paul, who was banned from the convention and candidates like him won't even have chance to run in the future.

Uncovered months ago the very profitable contract, written by Augusta Riverfront, LLC and almost agreed by the Richmond County Commission citizens learned that without oversight by taxpayers themselves Commissioners and the Mayor are not to be trusted. What was the rush to agree?

US Congressional District 12th Nightmare

When redistricting took place and several districts, such as the US Congressional District 12th, held by democratic John Barrow, and the geographical lines changed, many in the ruling parties, Democratic and Republican, probably overlooked the influential electorate formed by non traditional electorate. I am talking about the different backgrounds of citizenry that involve those lines changed and with that the new voters added or subtracted.

Regime Change in Augusta

AUGUSTA, GA - The victory today of Richard Roundtree in the runoff for Sheriff of Richmond County could be seen as the most significant defeat of the Augusta leadership. Most influential politicians, conservative and liberal business man and woman, and public officials from Mayor Deke Copenhaver to the retiring Sheriff Ronald Strength supported and campaigned for Cap. Scott Peebles. The same conclusion could be made with the defeat of Rick W. Allen by Lee Anderson.

Mexicans Urge Americans for Peace

Stein: Obama Cleared Path for Ryan

In elevating deficit reduction to his highest priority and setting up the deficit reduction supercommittee in 2011, President Obama made it clear that benefits programs were on the chopping block and that he would negotiate with Republicans on how to curtail them. Now, Representative Paul Ryan’s budget is in the spotlight, which also threatens services that millions of Americans depend on, according to the Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein.

Rick W. Allen Should Thank Anderson

AUGUSTA, GA - The following is a press release sent by Lee Anderson campaign, who is running for the seat hold by democratic John Barrow in the 12th Congressional District.  Allen and Anderson are the republicans opponents in the Aug. 21 runoff. Barrow probably will have a lot of manure to throw without any effort since both opponents are giving him all the information to attack the winner starting Labor Day.

Tampering With My Vote in GA

Remember the fiasco created when Karl Rove’s IT guru routed Ohio’s 2008 election results through a partisan (GOP) company’s servers in Tennessee before being sent to Ohio SoS Kenneth Blackwell’s office?  Ohio secured Bush’s re-election and we all know what a disaster that was.  Mysteriously, Karl Rove’s IT guy, Mike Connell, died in a private plane crash days before he was to testify about the program he wrote for SoS Blackwell at Mr. Rove’s instruction.  If there is even a remote possibility that a presidential election could be hacked, it should create enough alarm requiring a thorough investigation.
